Brazilian Keratin Treatment

What sets the Brazilian Keratin Treatment apart from straighteners and relaxers is the fact that it is not a chemical process that breaks the bonds of the hair and restructures it. This is a gentle and nourishing treatment that washes out over time. The Brazilian Keratin Treatment can be used on color treated and chemically processed hair and in general there is no risk of hair damage or breakage. The keratin fills in the gaps between the cuticle and the hair shaft and is then sealed with a high heat flat iron. This process eliminates the frizz, adds strength and elasticity, and at the same time achieves a straightening effect. Keratin also protects hair from environmental damage such as: UV rays, smog, and other pollutants.  The Brazilian Keratin Treatment does contain a minimal amount of formalin (formaldehyde). In fact, the same level of formaldehyde is found in common household products such at toothpaste, lipstick, and deodorant. It is used strictly as a preservative. Instant Treatment – last 6-8 weeks. Free of formaldehyde producing ingredients. Recommended for medium textured to very coarse or resistant hair. Uses cocoa butter, the most highly stable, concentrated, natural moisturizer available. Specially formulated to reduce frizz without completely eliminating curl. Allows for hair to be shampooed same day.

Brazilian Keratin Treatment - last 3-5 months. Recommended for fine to slightly medium textured hair types. Gently softens curls and conditions dry, over processed, damaged hair. Leaves hair frizz free, beautiful and healthy. Creates a luminous shine.

Chocolate Extreme De-Frizzing Treatment – last 3-5 months. Recommended for those with extremely tight curls and for hair types that are medium textured to very coarse or resistant. Uses cocoa butter, the most highly stable, concentrated, natural moisturizer available. It contains natural antioxidants and a special blend of amino acids. Produces beautifully conditioned hair.
